
PUTRAJAYA, 21st FEBRUARY 2023 - Universiti Malaysia Kelantan (UMK), Q.M Consulting and Business Services (QM) and L.N Gumilyov Eurasian National University (ENU), Kazakhstan has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) and Memorandum of Agreement (MoA) between two parties for cooperation in developing a dual Master of Business Administration (MBA) programme.
The MoU signing ceremony was completed by UMK Vice Chancellor, Prof. Dato' Dr. Razli Che Razak and Managing Director of Strategy and Business Development at Q.M Consulting and Business Services (QM), Kazakhstan, Dr Nadeem Khalid and Chairman of the ENU Rector's Board, Prof. Dr. Sydykov Yerlan Battashevich.
Also witnessing the cooperation agreement was the Malaysian Ambassador to Kazakhstan, His Excellency Mr. Mohd Adli Abdullah, Former Malaysian Ambassador to Kazakhstan, YBhg. Dato' Syed Mohamad Bakri Syed Abdul Rahman , Deputy Vice Chancellor (Academic and International) Prof. Dr. Nik Maheran Nik Muhammad and Dean, Malaysian Graduate School of Entrepreneurship and Business (MGSEB), Prof. Dr. Roselina binti Ahmad Saufi.
The MoU and MoA signing ceremony took place online at the UMK Office in Putrajaya, On 21st February 2023. According to Prof. Dato' Dr Razli, the two collaborations between MBA and ENU and QM are expected to be one of the great benefit to all parties involved based on UMK's vision and mission to produce high quality human capital with entrepreneurial qualties.
He said, UMK became the first Public University in the country to collaborate with the Universty of Kazakhstan. "Thus, I am very honoured and grateful to the Reactor of ENU and his management team for having confidence in UMK. "In addition, this collaboration also involves QM Consulting & Business Services as an industry partner, proving UMK's commitment as an academic institution that always collaborate with industry and higher education institutions at the international level to produce the human capital for both countries," he said.
He hopes that this collaboration will bear fruit in increasing academic partnerships such as Continuing Professional Development (CPD), Executive Education Program (EE), MBA Dual - Degree, research , publishing and so on. 'These two internationalization collaborations will be an important effort in ensuring that UMK is widely known in the eyes of the word," he said.
